
About Us
For over 50 years, the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale (MDC) has been dedicated to bringing vocal music to area citizens through seasonal concerts and contemporary cabaret performances. Under the direction of Mike Perkins and Jacob Cross, the Chorale focuses on bringing fine vocal music to the community, as well as providing a space for amateur vocalists to learn and grow.

This spring the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale is joining the International Symphony Orchestra in a showcase of Vaughan Williams
A Vaughan Williams Showcase – “One of England’s greatest composers takes center stage. This all–Vaughan Williams program captures the pastoral beauty of the English countryside and the bustling dynamics of London, brought to life through orchestra and choir.”
We will be performing a number of pieces, including:
• Overture the “The Wasps” • “The Lark Ascending” • “The London Symphony, Symphony No. 2” • A Collection of Unforgettable works for Choir and Orchestra
• Greensleeves • The Old Hundredth Tune • O’ Clap Your Hands
