This December the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale joins with the North Oakland Concert Band in bringing in the season!  Under the direction of Annette Kline, we will be performing a number of pieces, including: 

Ring Them Bells • Gloria (Michael W. Smith) • Carol of the Bells • Angels from the Realms of Glory • Candlelight Carol • Joy to the World • His Yoke Is Easy, from MESSIAH

The concert will be on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 4:00 pm

The location is Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Waldon Rd, Lake Orion

This event has no ticket sales but donations are appreciated.

The Metropolitan Detroit Chorale and the North Oakland Concert Band will be coming down to the Fraser Performing Arts Center @ Fraser High School on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 4:00 pm to perform a reprise of the Lake Orion performance.  Under the direction of Annette Klein, we will be performing holiday pieces, including:

This spring the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale is joining the International Symphony Orchestra in a showcase of Vaughan Williams

A Vaughan Williams Showcase – “One of England’s greatest composers takes center stage. This all–Vaughan Williams program captures the pastoral beauty of the English countryside and the bustling dynamics of London, brought to life through orchestra and choir.”

We will be performing a number of pieces, including:

• Overture the “The Wasps” • “The Lark Ascending” • “The London Symphony, Symphony No. 2” • A Collection of Unforgettable works for Choir and Orchestra

• Greensleeves • The Old Hundredth Tune • O’ Clap Your Hands

There are two performances, one in Sarnia, ON, and one in Port Huron, MI.
